Fargodome makes Pollstar's touring events rankings

FARGO—Several regional concert venues, including the Fargodome, made it into Pollstar Magazine's top 200 list for 2016.

The annual list, which ranks the top touring events ticket-selling facilities in the world, put Fargodome at No. 200 with its 53,084 qualifying tickets sold as reported to Pollstar for shows that happened between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31.

Winnipeg's MTS Centre ranked No. 102 for its 153,872 tickets sold during the period, and Sioux Falls' Denny Sanford PREMIER Center climbed 12 spots to No. 88 for its 170,843 tickets sold.

Two Twin Cities venues, the Target Center in Minneapolis (No. 55, 298,088 tickets) and Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul (No. 54, 307,982 tickets), also made the list.

London's The O2 venue topped the 2016 list with 1.59 million tickets sold.
