FARGO—An insurance office has replaced a former vintage shop in downtown Fargo.

Michael Lapos' independently owned Allstate office opened in October at 303 Broadway, taking the place of vintage shop Junk Giant that closed in September.

While Lapos and four other employees have been there since late fall, the office only got its Broadway-facing sign installed earlier this year.

Lapos said the office specializes in personal lines of insurance as well as some services for commercial clients. Allstate offices are independently owned, and there are several other Allstate-affiliated agents in Fargo-Moorhead.

The downtown Allstate office is open 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. For more information, call (701) 253-0622.
