Renner joins Valley Hope Counseling Services
Katie Renner has joined Valley Hope Counseling Services in Fargo.
Renner earned a master's degree in clinical counseling in 2009 from Moravian Theological Seminary in Bethlehem, Pa. She has specialized training in trauma including EMDR and TF-CBT.
Renner helps children, adolescents and adults with issues related to trauma, adoption, depression, anxiety, loss/grief, divorce, abuse/neglect, family therapy, and other mental health-related concerns. She received the 2016 Provider Award from the North Dakota Family Based Service Association.
Stantec expands transportation team in Fargo
Stantec has announced an addition to its transportation team in Fargo. Angela Bolstad is a civil engineer in training with expertise in transportation engineering.
Bolstad is a University of North Dakota graduate and has earned several North Dakota Department of Transportation certifications.
Dawson Insurance hires Shane Kennedy
Shane Kennedy recently joined Dawson Insurance, a Marsh and McLennan Agency company in Fargo, as a commercial lines account assistant.
Kennedy formerly worked at Caterpillar Remanufacturing Drivetrain in West Fargo.
Three promoted at CCRI in Fargo
Rachel Tollefson has been promoted to residential coordinator at Creative Care for Reaching Independence in Fargo. She is a graduate of North Dakota State University and previously worked as a direct support professional at CCRI for three and a half years.
Byron Bjore has been promoted to supportive housing specialist. He has worked at CCRI for seven years as a direct support professional.
Reid Hartl has been promoted to supportive housing specialist. He has worked at CCRI for four years as a direct support professional.
Sanford Health welcomes six providers
Six providers have recently joined the Sanford Health Fargo team: Andrea Hanson, nurse practitioner, Sanford Southpointe Clinic; Julie Honeyman, certified registered nurse anesthetist, Sanford Medical Center Broadway; Jordan Idso, certified registered nurse anesthetist, Sanford Medical Center Broadway; Ivan Martic, certified registered nurse anesthetist, Sanford Medical Center Broadway; Katelynn Ryan, certified registered nurse anesthetist, Sanford Medical Center Broadway; and Sherry Smith, nurse practitioner, Sanford South University.
Hanson earned a graduate degree from Maryville University in Missouri. She is board-certified in gerontology by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Program. Hanson specializes in internal medicine.
Honeyman, Idso, Martic and Ryan all received their graduate degrees from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. They are board-certified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists. They all specialize in anesthesiology.
Smith earned a graduate degree from the University of Missouri in St. Louis. She is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Program-Family and specializes in internal medicine.
Stadum promoted at UBS Financial Services
UBS Financial Services in Fargo announced that Tom Stadum was promoted to first vice president-wealth management by UBS Wealth Management Americas.
He serves as a financial adviser.
Six join Beyond Realty in Fargo
Michelle Borud, Kelly Collins, Ryan Kolness, Amanda Midthune, Mike Nelson and Shari Zimbelman have joined Beyond Realty in Fargo.
Borud is a graduate of Aakers Business College. She has been a licensed Realtor since 2003 and earned the Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource certification. She specializes in residential real estate and represents the Newport Ridge development in Kindred, N.D., and Viking Homes.
Collins has been a licensed Realtor since 2012. She specializes in commercial and residential real estate and represents the Evergreen Meadows development in Moorhead.
Kolness has been a licensed Realtor since 2015. He specializes in residential real estate. Kolness also owns a contracting business in Fargo.
Midthune is a graduate of the Art Institute in Minneapolis and Rasmussen College. She has been a licensed Realtor since 2011 and has earned the Graduate, Realtor Institute designation. She specializes in residential real estate and represents the Evergreen Meadows development in Moorhead.
Nelson is a graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. He has been a licensed Realtor since 2016. Nelson specializes in residential real estate.
Zimbelman is a graduate of North Dakota State University. She has been a licensed Realtor since 2006 and has earned the Accredited Buyer Representative, Certified Residential Specialist, Graduate, Realtor Institute designations and the Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource certification. She specializes in residential real estate.

First State Bank of North Dakota in Fargo has promoted James Williams III, Derrick Rogers, Allen Huber, Trista Gemar and Trisa Keys.
Williams was promoted to president of First State Bank of North Dakota. Williams has over 20 years of banking experience and has been with FSBND since 2005, serving as executive vice president. Williams is a graduate of Concordia College and earned a masters of business administration from the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis.
Rogers was promoted to vice president/branch manager in Buffalo, N.D. He has been with FSBND for five years, most recently as a loan officer. Rogers is a graduate of Valley City (N.D.) State University and a 2016 graduate of the Dakota School of Banking. He has over eight years of banking experience, which includes experience in bookkeeping, customer service and lending.
Allen Huber was promoted to senior vice president/IT. Huber has been with FSBND since 2010. He earned a bachelor's degree in computer science from Dakota State University, Madison, S.D. Huber has over 17 years of banking experience in information technology.
Trista Gemar was promoted to assistant vice president/loan officer in Oakes, N.D. She has been with FSBND since 2007. Gemar is a graduate of Valley City State University and a 2012 graduate of the Dakota School of Banking. She is vice president of the Oakes Area Chamber of Commerce and is a member of theSoutheast Region Career and Technology Center Joint Advisory Committee.
Trisa Keys was promoted to assistant vice president/operations. Keys has been with FSBND since 1999, holding various positions within the operations department, most recently as an operations specialist at the loan processing center in Casselton, N.D. Keys is a 2008 graduate
of the Dakota School of Banking and serves on the advisory board for the school.

Gabby Stocks has joined Ryan Hanson Homes of Keller Williams Realty Professionals in Fergus Falls, Minn.
Stocks graduates this spring from Minnesota State University Moorhead in business administration with a minor in marketing. She is a licensed Realtor and is the company's new showing agent.
Duenow Lein promoted at Gate City Bank
Rebecca Duenow Lein has been promoted to assistant vice president at Gate City Bank in Fargo.
She has been employed at Gate City Bank since 2014 and is the payment services supervisor at the bank's corporate office. Duenow Lein graduated from North Dakota State University with a bachelor's degree in human development.
CoreLink hires one, promotes three
Spencer Bauer has joined CoreLink Administrative Solutions in Fargo as a manager. He was previously employed at Target and graduated from the University of North Dakota with degrees in marketing and political science.
Erin Bednar was promoted to talent management specialist. She was previously human resources generalist. She has over 10 years of human resources experience and earned an associate of applied science degree in human resources management and business management from Aakers College. She is PHR and SHRM-CP certified.
Vil Hoffman was promoted to application solutions architect. She was previously a senior programmer/analyst.
Todd Ellis was promoted to test engineer II. He was previously a test engineer I. He previously worked as a claims processor for Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota and started as a test engineer I at CoreLink in April 2014. He earned a bachelor of science degree from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
Discovery Benefits promotes three
Discovery Benefits in Fargo promoted three employees to new positions within the company.
Brody Lothspeich and Matt A. Williams were promoted to implementation project managers. Simon Normansell was promoted to participant services team lead.
Lothspeich joined Discovery Benefits in 2014 as a benefits implementation manager and recently transitioned to a senior benefits implementation manager. He earned a bachelor's degree in exercise science with a minor in chemistry from North Dakota State University.
Williams started with Discovery Benefits in 2014 as a COBRA implementation manager and recently transitioned to a senior COBRA implementation manager. He earned a bachelor's degree in physics with a minor in biology and astronomy from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.
Normansell began his career at Discovery Benefits in 2015 as a participant services specialist. Before joining Discovery Benefits, he worked in various roles including child care, customer service and for the Adam's County Library in Gettysburg, Pa. Normansell earned his national vocational qualification for health and social care at Sir John Deane's College in England.
