Inside Business: Fargo Jet Center ranked third best aviation service company in world
FARGO—The Fargo Jet Center is the third best aviation service company in the world, according to a new survey.
Officials with the center, 3802 20th St. N., announced the ranking with a news conference Wednesday, May 17.
Pilots completed the 2017 Aviation International News fixed base operators (FBO) survey for facilities they had visited in the past year based on flight line services, passenger and pilot amenities, facilities and customer service representatives.
Fargo Jet Center got an overall average score of 4.72 out of a total of 5.0, putting it in the top 5 percent of all FBOs that were ranked. There are nearly 3,0000 FBOs in the U.S., and more than 3,000 pilots ranked 913 FBOs around the world over the past 12 months in this new survey.
The center was ranked the top FBO in the Midwest.
In a written statement, President Jim Sweeney said earning the high ranking was the result of the Fargo Jet Center team's hard work.
"Being a top choice of pilots who notice and appreciate our efforts is an accolade to our entire team," he said.
