Stoecker joins MSCTC
Caitlin E. Stoecker has joined Minnesota State Community and Technical College in Moorhead as its development officer. Stoecker previously worked as a development intern at YWCA Cass Clay and has been a member of the development department at The Village Family Service Center since 2012.
She earned a bachelor's degree in management communication from North Dakota State University and is expected to receive her master's degree in organizational communication from there this fall.
Sanford Health hires nine
Nine providers have joined Sanford Health in Fargo.
Abou Zahr specializes in hematology and earned his medical degree from the American University of Beirut in Lebanon. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He completed a fellowship in hematology and oncology at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Medical Center in New York and in leukemia at MD Anderson Hospital in Houston.
Al Maluli specializes in cardiology and earned his medical degree from Damascus University in Syria. He completed his residency in internal medicine and his fellowship in cardiology at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia.
Sheila Greseth specializes in endocrinology and earned her graduate degree from North Dakota State University.
Kari Hektner specializes in gastroenterology and earned her graduate degree from North Dakota State University in Fargo.
Venkatkiran Kanchustambham specializes in pulmonology and earned his medical degree from Andhra Medical College in India. He completed his residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at St. Louis (Mo.) University Hospital and his fellowship in pulmonary and critical care at St. Louis University Health Science Center.
Frederick Kieley specializes as a pediatric hospitalist and earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis. He completed his residency in pediatrics at the University of Utah Medical Center in Salt Lake City.
Jason Lehr specializes in anesthesiology and earned his osteopathic degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri. He completed his residency in anesthesiology at Michigan State University - McLaren Oakland in Pontiac, Mo.
Alok Saurav specializes in interventional cardiology and earned his medical degree from MKCG Medical College in Berhampur, Odisha, India. He completed his residency in internal medicine and his fellowships in cardiology and interventional cardiology at Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha.
Rebecca Schreier specializes in pediatric hospitalist and earned her osteopathic degree from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg. She completed her residency in pediatrics at the University of South Dakota Medical Center in Sioux Falls.
Vareberg Engineering hires one
Nile Morecraft has joined Vareberg Engineering as an electrical engineer. He earned his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from South Dakota State University in Brookings. He will be responsible for the development of electrical construction documents for commercial, retail, industrial, educational and government projects.
Essentia Health hires two
Essentia Health has hired Dr. Philip Wanzek as a urologist and Dr. Caitlin Pandolfo as an obstetrician and gynecologist.
Wanzek earned a medical degree from A.T. Still University in Kirksvile, Mo., and completed a residency in urology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. He's been an active member of the Army National Guard for 23 years.
Pandolfo earned a medical degree from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks and completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester, Mass.
Discovery Benefits hires three, promotes one
Discovery Benefits has hired Angela Gutierrez as an accounting manager and Abbie Olson and Shari Olson as participant services specialists. The company also promoted John Thome to COBRA director for participant services. Thome started as a participant services specialist in 2012 and most recently worked as a participant services manager for strategic partnerships.
Soori and Bradley join New Life Center
New Life Center has hired Vas Soori as a case manager and Shonna Bradley as shelter supervisor/case worker. Soori previously worked at Southeast Human Services Center and brings over 10 years of experience to the position. Bradley is pursuing a bachelor's degree in social work from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
NDSBA hires legal counsel
Amy De Kok has joined the North Dakota Schools Boards Association as an in-house legal counsel. De Kok has worked as attorney and shareholder at Fredrikson & Byron, P.A., since 2010 and previously practiced at a commercial litigation law firm in Minneapolis. She earned her bachelor's degree from North Dakota State University and her law degree from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul.
Dawson Insurance hires Bertie
Sean Bertie has joined Dawson Insurance in Fargo as a business insurance advisor. He previously worked as a commercial insurance agent at Johnson & Johnson for several years and as a commercial underwriter with Auto Owners Insurance Company, both in the Fargo-Moorhead area. He earned a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in biology from the University of North Dakota.
Myrdal joins NDSU Extension Service
North Dakota State University Extension Service in Cass County has hired Megan Myrdal as a family nutrition program extension agent. She previously worked as an independent consultant for Farmer's Daughter Consulting, Inc. and Cass Clay Food Partners. She also served as an NDSU Extension family and consumer sciences agent in Burleigh County. She earned a master's degree exercise and nutrition science from NDSU and a bachelor's degree in food, nutrition and dietetics from Concordia College in Moorhead.
Schmalenberg joins Park Co.
Kiah Schmalenberg has joined Park Co. realtors in Fargo. She is licensed in North Dakota and Minnesota, is a member of the National Association of Realtors, and will specialize in residential real estate
She earned a strategic communication and public relations degree from North Dakota State University.
Eid-Co Homes hires Lindemann
Stephanie Lindemann has joined Eid-Co Homes in Fargo as a purchaser. She has previous construction experience as a punch-list supervisor, assistant to superintendent, superintendent and president of a contracting company. She earned a bachelor's degree in construction management from North Dakota State University.
Sandman Structural Engineers hires two
Sandman Structural Engineers has hired Judy Foss as executive support specialist and Jason Hagen as a structural technician.
Foss has over 20 years of executive support experience in legal, nonprofit and technology, including 10 years with Microsoft.
Hagen worked at Icon Architects for 10 years and graduated with an associate's degree from North Dakota State College of Science, Wahpeton.
