ND Downtown Conference slated Oct. 17-18 in Fargo

FARGO—The seventh annual North Dakota Downtown Conference will take place here later this month.

This installment of the annual event, which will start Tuesday, Oct. 17, and conclude Wednesday, Oct. 18, will take place in several downtown locations, including Sanctuary Events Center, Abovo, Renaissance Hall, Drekker Brewing Co., Proof Artisan Distillers and the Fargo Theatre.

Nationally recognized speakers Jim Kumon and Matthew Lister will deliver keynotes during the conference, which will focus on how downtown development can benefit cities across the state. Gov. Doug Burgum's office will also provide an update on the Main Street Initiative.

Breakout sessions, lunches and tours are also on the schedule for this year's conference. A news release from the Downtown Community Partnership said more than 200 people are expected to attend.
