What was your most exciting or unique event this year?

"Obviously the Trollwood mainstage musical holds a special place in my heart, but in addition to that, having the legendary Tony Bennett out there was pretty awesome. That was definitely a highlight," said Kathy Anderson, Bluestem's executive director.

What makes your venue unique?

"The fact that it's outside and so beautiful. I was at the Frankie Valli concert and there was a deer on the hill right behind the stage, listening to Frankie Valli, too. You don't get that everywhere. That unique natural aspect of the venue is pretty awesome," Anderson said.

What's new and exciting for your business?

"I've been thinking it's been 2018 for quite a while because we've been working really hard on 2018 for the last couple of months and pushing forward to another incredible year," Anderson said, adding that Trollwood's mainstage musical would be announced any day.

Second Place: Sanctuary Events Center

Third Place: Fargodome
