Kempf named assistant VP at Cornerstone Bank

Lesa Kempf has joined Cornerstone Bank as an assistant vice president of operations/Bank Secrecy Act officer at the branch on 45th Street South in Fargo.

Kempf has over 30 years of banking and financial services experience.

Kliniske assigned to administrative position

Aaron Kliniske has been named to an administrative position at Clara Barton Hawthorne Elementary School, Fargo.

He replaces Rebecca Folden, who was named principal at Clara Barton Hawthorne.

Kliniske graduated from Mayville (N.D.) State University with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education, with minors in coaching and physical education. He has been serving as the lead teacher and a fifth-grade instructor at Longfellow Elementary since 2010 and was the head softball coach at Fargo North High School through the 2014 season.

He has also taught fourth grade at Lewis and Clark Elementary and kindergarten at Lincoln Elementary. He is currently working to complete his education leadership degree with North Dakota State University.

Swanson names CEO, promotes 1, hires 1

Swanson Health Products, Fargo, has named Ken Harris as chief executive officer, reporting to Lee Swanson who will remain president of SHP and continue to play an active role in the company.

Swanson Health has also promoted John Lazorenko to inventory allocation manager and hired Jeremy Driscoll as web acquisition and marketing manager in the ecommerce department.

Harris joins the SHP staff full time after serving as the company’s consultant for several months. His professional career includes CEO of WR Grace Restaurant Group, CEO of Mrs. Beasley’s, managing director of Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors, COO of the House of Blues and deputy welfare commissioner for the city of New York.

Lazorenko was previously the inventory control supervisor and has been with SHP since 2003.

Driscoll has 15 years of experience in advertising, communications and public relations.

Lyman, Slotten hired at Eventide Senior Living

Eventide Senior Living Communities, Moorhead, has hired Collette Lyman as director of nursing and Amanda Slotten as director of nutrition and culinary services at its Eventide location in Jamestown, N.D.

Lyman is a graduate of the University of North Dakota-Lake Region State College, Grand Forks and Devils Lake, and is a registered nurse. She was previously employed at the Carrington (N.D.) Health Center and HealthConnect at Home.

Slotten graduated from Concordia College with a bachelor’s degree in food/nutrition/dietetics.

Bob Sulkosky named Ramada sales director

The Ramada Plaza and Suites in Fargo has hired Bob Sulkosky as director of sales.

A native of Orting, Wash., Sulkosky has worked in the hospitality field for 21 years. His most recent employment was director of sales at Fortune Bay Resort Casino, Tower, Minn. He also previously worked as a sales manager at Chinook Winds Casino Resort, Lincoln City, Ore., general manager of an online advertising business and director of sales and marketing/acting general manager of the Wenatchee Red Lion Hotel in Washington state.

Veterinarian joins Animal Health Clinic

Animal Health Clinic in Fargo has hired Dr. Katie Habgood as an associate veterinarian.

Habgood attended North Dakota State University and graduated from the University of Minnesota’s College of Veterinary Medicine.

She has practiced in small- and mixed-animal clinics in Oregon for the past eight years. Her professional interests include feline medicine, dentistry, preventive medicine and ophthalmology.

RJ Energy Solutions hires three associates

RJ Energy Solutions, Fargo, has hired Ian Carlstrom as a project manager, Casey Anderson as an HVAC/R technician and Tanner Scheidecker as an energy engineer in training.

Carlstrom, a North Dakota State University business administration graduate, is working toward a master’s degree in business administration at NDSU. He is also a graduate of the HVAC program at Minnesota State Community and Technical College, Wadena.

Anderson is a graduate of the North Dakota State College of Science, where he earned an associate’s degree in HVAC/R.

Scheidecker is a native of Fargo and is a student at NDSU where he is majoring in electrical engineering.

Tania Cook promoted at Preference Personnel

Tania Cook has been promoted to administrative staffing leader at Preference Personnel, Fargo.

Cook joined Preference Personnel in 2008.

Midtbo hired by FBS as marketing coordinator

Katelyn Midtbo has joined FBS, 3415 39th St. S., Fargo, as marketing coordinator to the Fargo marketing team.

Midtbo is a graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. She previously worked at the Hilton Garden Inn, Fargo, as the social sales manager and as a freelance designer for over two years.

Sieling named manager of Fargo Buckle store

Danielle Sieling has been named manager of the Buckle store at West Acres Shopping Center, Fargo.

Sieling has worked for the Buckle since 2002 and was previously the manager at the Grand Forks store.

She is a graduate of the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, with a degree in public relations and advertising.

AE2S hires engineering tech in Moorhead office

Advanced Engineering and Environmental Services has hired Stacey Schuler as an engineering technician in the firm’s Moorhead office.

Schuler has more than 20 years of experience as an engineering designer, drafter and technician. She was a civil designer on various land planning and underground utility layout projects in Florida. In recent years she worked on Cape Canaveral’s Launch Complex 36 Modifications, the complete design of Launch Complex 41, communications for the space shuttle program with Lockheed Martin Aeronautic and facility planning for Lockheed Martin missiles and fire control.

Originally from Titusville, Fla., Schuler studied drafting and design at Eastern Florida State College, Titusville.

KLJ names surveyor, engineer in Fargo office

KLJ, an engineering, surveying and planning firm, has hired Kyle Fuerstenberg and Andy Pelzel in its Fargo office.

Fuerstenberg is a surveyor with the survey group. He earned an associate degree in land surveying from St. Cloud (Minn.) Technical and Community College. He has nearly a year of surveying and engineering experience.

Pelzel is an engineer with the construction management group. He earned a bachelor’s degree in construction management from North Dakota State University. He has nearly one year of engineering experience.

Games Galore names operations manager

Marcus Hovey has been named operations manager at Games Galore.

He will be responsible for coordinating events and staff throughout the Upper Midwest.

Hovey was previously manager of the Nine Iron Bar and Grill, Fargo.

Paul Davis Restoration hires 1, promotes 1

Paul Davis Restoration & Remodeling, West Fargo, has hired Amanda Welken as a customer service and marketing representative, and Corey Nelson has been promoted to production manager.

Welken previously worked in the insurance industry for many years. Nelson has completed the IICRC applied structural drying course at the Paul Davis Restoration corporate training center in Jacksonville, Fla. He also holds IICRC certifications in fire and smoke restoration, water damage restoration and lead renovation. Nelson has been with the company for three years.

Intelligent InSites hires manager, engineer

Intelligent InSites, Fargo, has hired Waylon Loeb as a project manager and Jake Kohl as a quality assurance engineer.

Loeb previously worked with various government-related projects and was a project manager at CoreLink Administrative Services where he managed insurance projects. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus in marketing and management, along with a minor in Spanish, from Valley City (N.D.) State University.

Kohl was previously a team trainer and premier support engineer for Microsoft Online Cloud Service. He has bachelor’s degrees in computer science and philosophy.

Peterson Farms Seed, Harwood, N.D., has hired Alicia Holen as an accounting assistant.

Holen earned a degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting and financial planning from the University of Jamestown, N.D.

She has previous experience working for Archway and Western State Bank.
