FARGO—The first dedicated flotation therapy spa in the community will hold its grand opening next week.

Salt2O, 3285 Fiechtner Drive, opened earlier this month and will celebrate its grand opening with festivities beginning at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 1, including a ribbon-cutting ceremony by the Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber of Commerce and a tour of the facility.

The new business is owned by Tara Hall, who said in a written statement that flotation therapy allows client's bodies and minds to rest in a zero-gravity environment.

"A few of the health benefits include stress reduction, anxiety relief, sports recovery and general pain relief in addition to improved creativity," she said.

An hourlong float session is $79, with discounts available for new clients as well as military members, police officers, firefighters, teachers, nurses and students. For more information, visit www.salt2ospa.com.
