FARGO—A restaurant and fish market is closed for the month as it remodels and expands.

Deep Blue Seafood House & Market, 4480 23rd Ave. S., announced Oct. 31 that it would be closed for the month of November as it works to expand its space.

The change will allow the business to be open longer hours, expand its menu, add seating, remodel and begin to offer beer and wine, according to a post on its Facebook page. The restaurant said it will reopen "better than ever" in early December.

A Fargo building permit was granted Oct. 30 for the $20,000 project, according to city records.

Deep Blue was opened in June 2016 by John and Busola Mittleider, offering a wide selection of fish and seafood as well as a small restaurant with seating for 24 that had a limited menu.
