Located in West Fargo, Bonanzaville is a pioneer village with 12 acres, 43 historic buildings and plenty to see and experience. Operated by the Cass County Historical Society, Bonanazaville's mission is to collect, display and interpret artifacts relevant to the history and cultural heritage of the Red River Valley.

What is the most rewarding part of being a community museum?

"Bonanzaville is unique in that it's a history museum and it keeps the history of Cass County alive for generations," said Brenda Warren, executive director of Bonanzaville.

What new things can people expect to see?

"We rotate artifacts all of the time and we have over 400,00 artifacts, so we have no lack of exhibitions," Warren said.

What's your favorite event during the year?

"We have three large events. We have our July 4th event. In August we have Pioneer Days. We also have Christmas on the Prairie, which is the first Saturday of December," Warren said.
