Hebron Brick Co. to be featured in AOL series
FARGO – Hebron Brick Co. will be the focus of an upcoming episode of “This Built America,” an online content series launched by AOL.
Throughout the series, a different company from each of the 50 states will be featured weekly over the next year. The series explores the companies and the people who have rejuvenated manufacturing in America.
The Hebron Brick episode highlights the pioneering spirit of the people who have seen the company through 110 years of hardship and prosperity and takes the viewer on a tour of their brick plant. The episode can be viewed at www.thisbuiltamerica.com and click North Dakota on the map.
Hebron Brick was established in 1904 and is based in Fargo. The company employs approximately 150 people in North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota. They are the oldest manufacturing company in North Dakota and ship millions of brick each year across the U.S. and Canada.

Central ND irrigation tour scheduled Thursday
CARRINGTON, N.D. – The North Dakota Water Education Foundation is hosting the Central North Dakota Irrigation tour Thursday. The tour begins and ends in Carrington. It includes the Van Bedaf Dairy, lunch, discussion at the Garrison Diversion Conservancy District office, and a tour of the Carrington Research Extension Center.
The tour, which costs $20 per person, is open to the public and includes transportation, informational materials, meals, refreshments and a one-year subscription to the North Dakota Water magazine.
The foundation is also hosting the Northwest Oil Impact tour Aug. 6 (departing from Williston), the Missouri River Expedition tour Aug. 20 (departing from Bismarck) and the Sites of the Sheyenne River Valley tour Sept. 10 (departing from Valley City).

Former employees of hospitals to reunite
FARGO – St. John’s and St. Ansgar hospitals former employees’ reunion will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Wednesday in the St. Anthony’s Catholic Church basement, 710 10th St. S.
Doctors, nurses and all department personnel are welcome from any year’s employment. Cake, fruit, coffee and lemonade will be provided.
