FARGO – The Cass County Courthouse here was vandalized for the second time this week.

According to a press release, deputies responded to a report of vandalism Sunday morning after a passer-by reported it around 9 a.m. The glass doors of the main entrance had been shattered and the words “elite lane” spray-painted on Ninth Street South in front of the courthouse.

Early Wednesday morning, someone used two fist-sized rocks wrapped with the messages “facism” and “nazzism” to break two glass panels of the main doors. The rocks broke only the outside layer of the double-paned glass and did not enter the courthouse.

Sgt. Tara Morris said Sunday’s incident remains under investigation.
