Ex-NDSU runner wins Trinidad and Tobago title

FARGO – Former North Dakota State hurdler Deborah John won a national title in the 100-meter hurdles over the weekend at the Trinidad and Tobago National Track and Field Championships held in Port-of-Spain.

John claimed her nation’s top spot with a time of 13.36 seconds – the third-fastest time of her decorated career. John, who concluded her collegiate career with NDSU earlier this month, took runner-up honors in the 100 hurdles at the Trinidad and Tobago Championships last summer.
