LOS ANGELES – Aw jeez, FX’s “Fargo” sure was a heck of a show, according to the Critics’ Choice Television Awards.

“Fargo” received the best miniseries award, beating out “American Horror Story: Coven,” “Bonnie & Clyde,” “Dancing on the Edge,” “The Hollow Crown” and “Luther.”

The show also won two of its nominations in acting categories, with best supporting actress in a movie or miniseries going to Allison Tolman and best actor in a movie or miniseries going to Billy Bob Thornton.

Thornton bested a fellow “Fargo” cast member, Martin Freeman, for his award.

Colin Hanks was nominated for best supporting actor in a movie or miniseries, but lost to Matt Bomer for his work in “The Normal Heart.”

Overall, “Fargo” tied with “Orange Is the New Black” for the most wins at Thursday’s awards show with three honors.
