Fargo South hosting benefit for teacher/coach Dockter

FARGO – The friends of Fargo area teacher and coach Cameron Dockter will be hosting a picnic, silent auction, flag football and truck pull benefit on Aug. 16 to help Dockter, who suffered a severe pelvic fracture injury in May while horseback riding in May.

All proceeds of the benefit will help Dockter medical expenses relating to the accident.

Dockter has been teaching for 29 years. He currently teaches sixth grade social studies and language arts at Carl Ben Eielson Middle School in Fargo.

Dockter is also an assistant football coach and head coach of the boys track and field team at Fargo South High School.

The benefit is scheduled for 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the north entrance of South High School.
