FARGO – The summer sun is finally shining, and I’ve been eager to enjoy my daily dose of Vitamin D.

Unfortunately, one day I forgot to apply my SPF 45. My shoulders were scorched after an hour outside.

I Googled home remedies and came across one particularly cooling treatment – aloe vera ice cubes.

Simply fill a silicone ice cube tray with aloe vera gel and freeze.

Pop the green cubes out of the tray and gently rub onto sunburn. The icy blast of healing aloe soothes scorched skin.
