Inside Business: Uncorked moving to south Fargo location
Fargo - Uncorked, a do-it-yourself winery in downtown Fargo, is moving from its home at 12 Broadway to a new location at 1700 32nd Ave. S.
The downtown location is now closed and the new location is expected to open in about two weeks, according to owner Kathy Swiontek.
“We’re aiming for Aug. 2,” said Swiontek, adding that the move is a step toward simplifying the business and getting it back to its original role as a domestic winery.
That means they are discontinuing the deli kitchen and the business will no longer offer an event room.
In addition to providing a place where people can make their own wine, Swiontek said Uncorked will continue to offer supplies and accessories and it will continue to make wine for Red Trail Vineyard of Buffalo, N.D.
