Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban, Harry Connick, Jr. and Ryan Seacrest returning to ‘American Idol’
“American Idol” is keeping the team together for Season 14.
Fox announced late on Monday that judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban, Harry Connick, Jr. and longtime host Ryan Seacrest have all renewed their contracts for another season of the singing competition.
“Jennifer, Keith, Harry and Ryan are the very best in the business at what they do, and I'm thrilled that they are returning to ‘American Idol’ for another season,” 21st Century Fox's senior executive vice president David Hill said in a statement. “Each brings unique qualities and expertise to the team, but they all share the same passion for helping undiscovered singers achieve the American dream.”

Hill was appointed to oversee both “Idol” and “The X Factor” for the past season after Fox's reality chief Mike Darnell left the company and amid a huge makeover of “Idol's” executive production team.
Show creator and executive producer Simon Fuller added, “I am thrilled our consummate host, Mr.Ryan Seacrest, is returning for Season 14, together with Jennifer, Harry and Keith. Their interaction, warmth and experience made them an absolute joy to watch. I can't wait to see their evolution together continue next season.”
The show did experience several ratings lows this season, but was able to finish on an uptick in viewership.
Seacrest closed his deal to return back in May and Connick had already declared himself back for another season.
