Letter: Act of kindness was appreciated
People do acts of kindness these days.
A group of ladies from a local nursing home were out for lunch at The Shack on July 2. As the ladies went by a table with three women and three children, the young girl, about 3 or 4, sitting at the end of the table wanted to know their names. When they were settled at the table next to them, the activity person who escorted the ladies to The Shack asked the little girl her name and then introduced each of the ladies to the little girl. The child seemed pleased to be introduced to them all. The ladies thought she was the cutest and friendliest little girl.
When it came time to pay the bill, the waitress told the group their bill had been paid by the people at the table next to them. The ladies from the nursing home would like to thank whoever paid their bill. It made their day.
