Email News Alerts

In a recent Forum, on the front page, the proposed North Dakota license plate design was displayed, along with a notation: “Tell us what you think.”

The fact that the artwork on the plates depicts the Theodore Roosevelt National Park as the background, in my opinion, it would be appropriate to add after the white letters “Peace Garden State”: And Theodore Roosevelt National Park.

Thus, the bottom white letters would ultimately read, “Peace Garden State and Theodore Roosevelt National Park.”

We are proud of North Dakota and its hardworking and talented inhabitants. We are blessed to have such wonderful Canadian friends who border and share the Peace Garden.

The beautiful creation of the botanical gardens unquestionably represents peace, friendship and universal love.
