Letter: I might try to keep up with the neighbors
Thank you, West Fargo, for a great Fourth of July. Not only did I enjoy great family time, I enjoyed pasta salad, potato salad, hot dogs, burgers, chicken wings and beans. I also enjoyed the chance to see my neighbors try to out-do each other with their own fireworks displays. I am sure that Minnesota State University Moorhead and Bonanzaville had great displays, but my neighbors could and would not be outdone.
And as the new law states “fireworks up to 1 a.m.,” all was quiet in my area of town at that time. Thank you, West Fargo, for your understanding that Independence Day is for celebration. Next year I may need to spend more than $40 to keep up with the neighbors.
