Letter: There is more to a store than a mere remodel

It’s a pleasure to see the upgrading, design and effort being put into the Family Fare stores that were built approximately 15 years ago, which I was a part of.

Generally, most companies remodel every five or six years. Look at the competitors like Hornbacher’s.

One can invest millions of dollars in brick and mortar, but what about the investment in being competitive, customer service and community involvement. If one does not take care of existing and potential customers, then the same result will be obtained. No sour grapes here, just an observation.
