Motorcyclist hurt while avoiding crash in West Fargo
WEST FARGO - A motorcyclist was injured Monday night after a crash at Main Avenue and Sixth Street West, the West Fargo police said in a news release.
The motorcyclist, William Seim, of West Fargo, was taken to a hospital, police said. His condition was not immediately available.
About 7:30 p.m. Monday, Seim was headed west on Main Avenue when a vehicle on Sixth Street pulled onto Main Avenue, and Seim laid down the motorcycle to protect himself, police said.
Seim slid for a short distance and avoided hitting the vehicle. He was not wearing a helmet, police said.
The driver of the vehicle was Levi Jablonsky, 18, of Forman, N.D. He told police he did not see the motorcycle.
