MSUM’s Robley to be inducted into NSIC Hall

BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Dale Robley, an All-American shot putter at Minnesota State Moorhead in 1973, will be one of eight who will be inducted into the Northern Sun Intercolleigate Conference Hall of Fame this week.

Robley was the only athlete ever to win both the conference indoor and outdoor championships in the shot put all four years he competed. He earned All-America status in both the indoor and outdoor NAIA national meets in 1973.

Robley, who coached track and field at MSUM and the University of North Dakota, now teaches and coaches at the Minnesota Academy for the Blind in Faribault, Minn.
