Brayden Selzler, a 9-year-old from Velva, N.D., caught this state-record goldeye that might qualify as a world record. Selzler reeled in a 4-pound, 12-ounce goldeye last month from Lake Audubon while fishing in a canoe. It shattered the 1998 state record by nearly a pound and might eclipse a nearly three-decade world record kept for goldeye.
