Palmer A. Cleveland
Palmer A. Cleveland, age 82, passed away Tuesday, June 3rd,2014. Born Feb.11th 1932 to parents Palmer and Edna Cleveland in Minneapolis, MN.
At age 12, he and his family moved to Fargo, ND. A short time later they moved across the Red River to Moorhead, MN where he met his soul mate Joan Duncan. Before leaving on his tour of duty(Air Force),Palmer and Joan were married. Upon returning from his station in London they started their family. Being the quintessential salesman, they would move to St. Louis Park, MN and then to Arlington Heights, IL. After Joan's passing, he later married Pauline Vida and resided at Rob Roy for the last 27 years of his life. He was an avid golfer and served on the board at Rob Roy for many years. He enjoyed fishing at the lakes in MN and in Mexico. The most important thing in his life was the love and respect of family and friends.
He is survived by his children, Jeff(Jill), Kim (Mark), Mike, grandchildren Kelly, Kristi, Nicole, Julie and Melanie. He was preceded in death by his parents, Palmer and Edna, brother Charles, and wives Joan and Pauline.
His request was to have a casual celebration of his life which will be held at 270 Country Club LN, Prospect Heights, IL 60070 on Saturday, June 7th from 2-5pm.
