Priebe recertified in economic development
Jane Priebe, the economic development director in Wahpeton, N.D., has been awarded recertification by the International Economic Development Council.
The recertification is required every three years and requirements for recertification include continuing education and service to the profession.
Priebe has more than 20 years of economic development experience and has initiated and participated in multiple development projects focused on workforce, housing and business expansion/retention efforts.
Huber graduates from bank technology school
Allen Huber, an information technology specialist for First State Bank of North Dakota, has graduated from the 2014 Bank Technology Management School offered by the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
The one-week school presents topics related to bank technology management and teaches students about the business of banking and IT’s role in enhancing bottom line results.
Huber has been employed at FSBND since 2010 and he has worked in various IT banking positions since 1998. He earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Dakota State University, Madison, S.D.
