Red River Valley Fair vendor employee arrested for terrorizing
FARGO – A man working for a vendor at the Red River Valley Fair was arrested for terrorizing early Saturday morning on the fair campgrounds.
David Quintin Griffin, 44, of Sulser, La., allegedly threatened co-workers verbally, saying he would harm them with a firearm if they did not leave him alone, according to a Cass County Sheriff’s Office news release.
Deputies established a perimeter around Griffin’s sleeping quarters at 5 a.m. Saturday and arrested him without incident.
It is unclear if a firearm was brandished during the threat, but coworkers have seen Griffin with a firearm before, the release said.
The investigation is ongoing, and reports of the incident are being sent to the Cass County States Attorney’s office for formal charges to be filed, the release said.
