FARGO – One pitch prevented Jake Laber from setting a new standard for the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks.

Matt Padgett blasted a two-run home run in the first inning to lift the Kansas City T-Bones to a


2-1 victory Thursday in American Association baseball at Newman Outdoor Field.

“One pitch was the difference in the game, that’s for sure,” Laber said.
