Redskins cut former Bison DB Shepherd; teams release two former UND players
The Washington Redskins have released former North Dakota State standout defensive back Bryan Shepherd as part of its roster cutdown on Monday, according to The Washington Post.
Former University of North Dakota wide receiver Weston Dressler was among 11 cuts made by the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday, the team announced on its website.
In Denver, the Broncos cut ties with rookie Greg Hardin as part of a roster cutdown.
Dressler, from Bismarck, was signed by the Chiefs during the off-season after playing in the Canadian Football League with the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
