Fargo - Nicole Gruchow’s handbag typically has at least three pieces of jewelry in it.

The 30-year-old woman who co-owns Your Day by Nicole and Broadway Shoe Co. designs jewelry and has an eye for vintage baubles, too.

I spotted Gruchow at Your Day by Nicole in an easy, white lace bohemian-inspired dress and statement necklace that looked perfectly romantic and summery.

Describe your style. I’m a minimalist except for my jewelry – I base outfits around jewelry. And I’m such a basics person.

What are you wearing today? An Isaac Mizrahi dress, Johnston & Murphy shoes, a necklace from Your Day by Nicole and a vintage Rolex watch.

Who’s your style icon? Blake Lively. I love everything from her hair to her styling. I also like Olivia Palermo.

What’s your favorite thing in your closet right now? A twist dress from the store (Your Day by Nicole) that I can wear 13 ways. It’s a soft jersey knit.

What’s always in your handbag (a large Cole Haan weaved leather tote)? Jewelry! I make jewelry, and I’m always so last-minute that jewelry completes my look.

Where do you shop? I wear what I sell. I choose things for the store that I would want to wear. I don’t have much time to shop.

Your store sells wedding dresses. What did you wear on your big day? My dress was plain and strapless with a blush-color sash and a brooch from my grandma.

What are a few trends in bridal wear right now? Lace, illusion necklines, sleeves and the boho-effortless look is in.
