Style Profile: Simple, funky style for student
Fargo - Zainah Haider pushes her personal style limits.
I spotted Haider downtown in funky high-waisted shorts, a crop top and of course, a bold lip.
Describe your style. I like to keep it simple and put together, but I also like to try funky things.
What are you wearing today? A crop top from Proper & Prim and floral shorts from T.J.Maxx.
Who’s your style icon? Rachel Zoe (designer and celebrity stylist). She had great style, and I love how she styles others.
Where do you shop? Proper & Prim, T.J.Maxx, plus online stores like Nasty Gal and Urban Outfitters.
What’s your favorite thing in your closet? A black chiffon dress with a crocheted top that I bought at LOT 2029.
If you had an unlimited amount of money to spend on one fashion-related item, what would you buy? Lots of shoes. They can make or break an outfit.
What’s always in your handbag? A bajillion lipsticks. I’m currently coveting a shade called “Spicy Cinnamon” by Revlon.
And I always have hand lotion.
How long does it take you to get ready in the morning? About an hour.
What’s your favorite summer trend? High-waisted everything!
Where do you look for style inspiration? Lookbook.nu is always inspiring, and I google festival fashion. People dress up so much for festivals like Lollapalooza and Coachella.
One of my favorite people to follow on Instagram is @Tessa_Barton. She’s a photographer who takes the most beautiful shots.
