Teen hurt in Horace crash charged with disorderly conduct after hospital incident

HORACE, N.D. – A 16-year-old boy injured in a rollover crash Monday evening in Horace was later charged with disorderly conduct for being disruptive at a local hospital, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Department.

The crash occurred shortly before 6:30 p.m. Monday. The teen was driving a Chevrolet pickup truck that rolled over in the 500 block of Southwood Drive, just east of the Sheyenne River, the department said.

He suffered a head injury and was taken by ambulance to Essentia Health in Fargo. He was arrested for disorderly conduct at the hospital because he was swearing and disrupting emergency room staff, the department said.

The teen was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and cited for careless driving, the department said.
