Tuesday Afternoon Forecast Discussion
It has been a fairly calm morning here in the StormTRACKER Weather Center. We did have a fog advisory for much of northwestern Minnesota earlier this morning, but that diminished before 9 a.m. While it’s been mostly clear over eastern North Dakota this morning, there’s been a bit more cloud coverage in northern Minnesota. As we continue to heat up, clouds will gradually dissipate in the afternoon for that area and become partly cloudy. The rest of the region will be mostly clear to partly cloudy and warmer than yesterday.
Wind: NW 5-15 mph
Tonight will be fairly mild with a mostly clear sky. There will be some moisture in the air tonight and with a light and variable wind, and we could wake up to some patchy fog again similar to this morning.
Wind: Light & Variable
Wednesday will start off pleasant, but we could see scattered showers and thundershowers Wednesday night through Thursday. Friday will be a break from the rain with a partly cloudy sky. Temperatures will stay in the upper 70s to mid 80s through Friday. Saturday and Sunday could bring another round of thunderstorms. We also could cool down and have highs in the upper 60s and lowers 70s by Sunday and Monday!
Make it a great day!
