Two men charged in Crystal Sugar copper thefts
MOORHEAD – Two men have been accused of stealing copper wire from an American Crystal Sugar site where beets are dropped off, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
Harry James Folstrom, 57, was arrested on charges of first-degree criminal damage to property and felony theft. He’s in custody in Hubbard County on a probation violation.
The second man, Gordon Allen Kiehl, 46, faces the same charges. He remains at large, the Sheriff’s Department said.
Clay County Attorney Brian Melton said charges would likely be filed this morning.
