Spend Father’s Day with one of the United States of America’s founding fathers, Thomas “The Pen of the Revolution” Jefferson. Actually, Bismarck-based historian Clay Jenkinson is the man under the wig and behind the mic for the public radio show “The Thomas Jefferson Hour.” Jenkinson will field questions and answer as “The Sage of Monticello” would for the taping of two programs, beginning at noon in the HoDo Lounge, 101 Broadway. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. Tickets are $50, with proceeds benefiting Prairie Public and the Lewis & Clark Fort Mandan Foundation. For more information, go to www.prairiepublic.org or call (800) 359-6900.
