FARGO - If you’ve seen Hibah Samad on our local Fox affiliate, you’ve probably noticed her style.

The 25-year-old news reporter from Manhattan Beach, Calif., has a passion for all things sartorial. Before she moved to Fargo a little over a year ago, she styled clothing at boutiques in her hometown and authored a fashion blog.

I spotted Samad downtown wearing a funky mix of attire, and I liked her studded heels paired with summery white skimmers and a trendy kimono.

Describe your style. Diverse. It’s based on how I feel in the morning. Sometimes it’s boho chic; sometimes it’s urban or totally hipster.

What are you wearing today? Shoes from Zara, necklace from Loft, Gap jeans, and my kimono and top are from Aritzia (a boutique chain).

Where do you shop? Zara is a top pick for me. But also Asos – they have everything, Macy’s and little boutiques.

I’m a big bargain shopper and like finding things on sale.

What inspires your style? I’m big on blogs. “Song of Style,” “We Wore What” and “Sincerely Jules” are some favorites.

Do you have any style icons? Olivia Palermo.

What’s your favorite thing in your closet? My high-waisted jeans, my jackets/blazers and booties. I love boots!

What trend are you into right now? White on white. And mixing gold with silver.

What fashion-related item would you buy if you could splurge? A pair of Chanel espadrilles and a classic Chanel purse, plus Celine sunglasses.

Do you have an excess of anything fashion-related? Necklaces. I have way too many and hang them everywhere – on doorknobs, lamps, etc.

Do you have any pieces of jewelry that are especially beloved? A bracelet that was my grandma’s. My sister and I both have one, and my dad brought them back from Dubai.
