FARGO - Danae Moran’s easy style was born from her love of travel.

The 24-year-old Fargo woman, who is the mission director for Unseen Ministries, was planning the non-profit’s trip to Thailand when I spotted her at Island Park.

Moran told me she’s a frequent thrift store shopper who favors unfussy fashions that fit her lifestyle.

Describe your style.

It’s just me. I wear what I like.

What are you wearing today?

A Midwest love T-shirt from Proper & Prim, a hat I bought at a thrift store, an American Eagle skirt I bought at a thrift store and a thrifted leather bag.

Where do you shop? I shop at thrift stores mostly, but Proper & Prim, Unglued, too. My favorite thrift stores are Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch and St. Vincent de Paul (now known as St. Francis Thrift Store).

Does travel influence your style?

Seeing how different cultures wear clothing reminds me that style can be so much more.

What’s one of your craziest fashion purchases?

A silky cat shirt I bought in the Philippines.

Where else do you get style inspiration?

On Instagram. I follow @awelltraveledwoman, and her style is really down-to-earth, beautiful and effortless.

Where’s your favorite place you’ve traveled?

Ecuador. It’s significant to my family because my little brother was adopted from there.

What’s your favorite fashion item?

My wedding ring – it’s a 1930s ring from a pawn shop. I’m not one to turn something away if it’s old.

Do you have any hobbies?

I knit scarves and cowls. It’s a fun, creative outlet for me.
