Concordia professor's new book 'Love Without Limits' available Monday

MOORHEAD — After a difficult road to publication, the latest book from theologian Jacqueline Bussie will hit the shelves Monday, Aug. 20.

"Love Without Limits: Jesus' Radical Vision for Love With No Exceptions" is part memoir, part theological exploration and includes stories of the people, places and things that have taught her about radical love, including her mother Charlotte, her friends Bob and Brian and a Floridian who adopted Fargo as their hometown.

Through her book, Bussie illuminates Jesus' teachings on love and applies them to topics like adoption, interfaith friendships, sexuality and gender, grief, justice and more, all while keeping in mind the question of whether it is possible to love people we don't like or whom we disagree with.

Bussie is a professor of religion and director of the Forum on Faith and Life at Concordia College in Moorhead. She believes the way forward is to practice the "no exceptions" love that Jesus taught, according to a news release.
