Postmodern Jukebox, Tom Papa, Diplo, Flaming Lips add Fargo dates
FARGO — The jazz-influenced Postmodern Jukebox plays the Fargo Theatre on Oct. 8.
The group rose to fame via YouTube videos doing swing interpretations of contemporary songs, including a popular series with Puddles Pity Party, who played the Fargo Theatre last month.
Tickets for the show are $40 and $50.
Comedian Tom Papa will also play the Fargo Theatre on Oct. 5.
The stand-up is the head writer for the public radio show, "Live From Here," formerly known as "A Prairie Home Companion", and a frequent performer on the show.
Tickets are $29.50 or $59.50 for a meet-and-greet.
Promoter Jade Presents also announced two shows for the Sanctuary Events Center.
DJ/Producer Diplo will bring his electronic beats to the room on May 31. Tickets are $45 in advance, $50 the day of the show.
Psychedelic rock band The Flaming Lips will light up the space on June 25 with tunes like "Do You Realize??" and "The Yeah Yeah Yeah Song". Tickets are $49.50 in advance, $52.50 the day of show and $150 for a VIP package.
Tickets for the Flaming Lips go on sale at 10 a.m., Thursday, with the other three shows on sale at 11 a.m., Friday. Tickets are available at the Tickets 300 box office, jadepresents.com, and (866) 300-8300.
