MOORHEAD — Before they take the stage as the opening act at tonight’s Cheap Trick concert, two members of American new wave band The Romantics stopped by a store here to check out the merchandise and talk music.

Mother’s, 431 Main Ave., posted a nearly 20-minute video to its Facebook page Thursday afternoon, Aug. 30, showing lead guitarist Mike Skill and drummer Brad Elvis look over inventory and talk about albums, among other things, with store owner Brady Bredell.

The conversation also turned to the growing resurgence of vinyl records among music listeners.

Cheap Trick and The Romantics will play at Bluestem beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday, with tickets ranging from $35 to $75 and available at
