Acting workshop scheduled for Fargo Film Festival

FARGO—Actress Alison Becker leads a workshop called "The Business of Acting" on March 24.

The seminar is held in conjunction with the Fargo Film Festival, which runs from March 20 through 24.

The 2-hour class will go over do's and don'ts for working actors.

In her 15 years acting, Becker may be best known as reporter Shauna Malwae-Tweep

on NBC's "Parks and Recreation". She's also been in TV shows "The League," "The Newsroom," "New Girl," "Curb Your Enthusiasm," "Kroll Show" and more. Her short film "Control" will screen as a part of the festival.

The class will be held at 1:30 p.m. in the Prairie Rose Room at the Radisson. Admission is $15 for students and $20 for general audiences and is recommended for ages 16 and older.
