Front Street's new venue, The Cellar, to host stand-up comedy
FARGO — Four nights of professional stand-up comedy is coming to The Cellar, a new event space in the basement of Front Street Taproom, 614 Main Ave.
JT Habersaat, a New York native currently living in Austin, Texas, will headline the space Friday, Oct. 12, and Saturday, Oct. 13. He has been described as "The Godfather of Punk Rock Comedy" by Chicago Now, and has headlined and curated the "Altercation Punk Comedy Tour" since its inception in 2008.
The Oct. 19 and 20 show will feature Eddie Pepitone, a man described as a cross between Jackie Gleason and Don Rickles, and a master of the dark arts of comedy. Nicknamed "The Bitter Buddha," Pepitone switches between social rage and self-doubt with an energetic combination of calm and chaos.
All shows begin at 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6:30. Tickets are available at www.frontstreettaproom.com, in the taproom or at the door.
