Josephine Evelyn Kreutzer Pfeifer, 81, Buffalo, ND, passed away January 4, 2009 at Bethany Homes, Fargo, ND.

Josephine, daughter of Mary and Alois Kreutzer, was born October 12, 1927 in Hays, KS and later moved to Denver, CO where she met and married Vernon Edward Pfeifer on August 3, 1951. Jo, as she liked to be called, was a member of the St Thomas Catholic Church and was also a member of the St. Thomas Ladies Aid and American Legion Auxiliary.

Jo was preceded in death by her husband Vernan, infant son John, parents, 7 brothers, 4 sisters.

Jo is survived by her six children, Pam (Mark) Koyasako, Lora (Joe) Killoran, Douglass Pfeifer, (Taryn Weum), Randy Pfeifer, Jay (Cathrin) Pfeifer and Kevin Pfeifer; eleven grandchildren, Nick (Michelle), Jamie (Jeff), Pamela (Curt), Shannon, Matthew, Brady, AJ, Holly, Andrew and Nash; two great grandchildren, Alexa Rose and Taylor Jo.

Visitation: Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at 6:00 PM with a rosary at 7:00 followed by the prayer service at St Thomas Church in Buffalo, ND.

Funeral Service: Thursday, January 8, 2009 at 10:30 AM at St Thomas Catholic Church.
