Due to the flood emergency, the following events have been canceled or postponed in the Fargo-Moorhead area:
- All Fargo Park District youth and adult programs, leagues, classes, lessons and special events through Sunday have been canceled.
- The Fargo-Moorhead Symphony has canceled Thursday’s Young People’s Concerts for school children and Friday’s Pizza Pop Family Concert.
- The Boys & Girls Club of the Red River Valley has postponed events scheduled this week.
- The pancake feed scheduled for Saturday at Oak Mound Church near Kragnes, Minn., has been rescheduled for 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 26.
- The progressive networking luncheon scheduled at 11:45 a.m. Thursday at the Ramada Plaza Suites in Fargo has been postponed until further notice.
- Parent-teacher conferences scheduled for Tuesday at Fargo’s Woodrow Wilson Community High School are canceled.
- Trollwood Performing Arts School’s informational meetings scheduled for Thursday and March 31 are rescheduled for April 14.
- All YMCA programs, group fitness and water exercise classes are canceled through Sunday. Horace School Age Program is closed. The Harwood School Age Program will be closed starting today.
- The Taj Mahal concert scheduled for Friday at the Fargo Theatre will be rescheduled.
- Saturday’s Spring Gardening Seminar at Horizon Middle School has been canceled.
- The HealthierUS School celebrations scheduled for Wednesday at Washington and Jefferson Elementary Schools have been canceled.
- The United Way of Cass-Clay annual meeting and celebration scheduled for tonight has been rescheduled for April 28.
- The ExplorTech program kick-off scheduled for today has been postponed until April 28.
Other announcements include:
- MeritCare Roger Maris Cancer Center will be closed Wednesday through Friday.
- MeritCare Parents’ Fair on Saturday is postponed.
- MeritCare’s CV Symposium that was scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday is canceled.
- Courts Plus Fitness Center, Fargo, is canceling all programming through Sunday and closing Southwest Express.
- The Celebration of Nations scheduled Friday at Minnesota State University Moorhead has been canceled.
- Fargo Municipal Airport Authority’s Tuesday meeting will be rescheduled.
- The Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Fargo canceled all outpatient clinic appointments through Monday. Inpatient, walk-in and emergency services remain available.
- Trials scheduled in Fargo Municipal Court beginning today through April 2 are canceled. Anyone who has a trial scheduled during that time must call the Fargo City Municipal Court at (701) 241-1316 to confirm that their matter is being rescheduled.
- The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association canceled its shows set for Friday and Saturday.
- Cass County Public Health officials canceled today’s “Walk This Way” event.
