Forms required for Oakport Township help

The U.S. Army Corps Of Engineers will assist Oakport Township with the removal of levees and sand bag dikes and is in the process of preparing contracts.

The U.S. Army Corps Of Engineers will assist Oakport Township with the removal of levees and sand bag dikes and is in the process of preparing contracts.

The project will include removal of levees and sandbags from private property, including sandbags placed on the driveway.

Homeowners wishing to have levees or sandbags removed from their property will be required to complete a right-of-entry form and it must be signed at the Oakport Town Hall at 1401 28th Ave. N., Moorhead.

Township supervisors will be available at the town hall at the following dates and times to assist homeowners: From 1 to 3 p.m. today, 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. The forms were to be completed on Friday.
