Cleanup from this spring’s flood will prompt the closing of 40th Avenue South in Fargo at 7 tonight.
The road will be closed for levee removal work, according to a city of Fargo news release.
“Due to a large number of trucks hauling out of a confined space from multiple directions, 40th Avenue South is being closed in the interests of safety,” the news release states.
The city said the road closure is temporary and 40th Avenue South will be open for regular traffic by 7:30 a.m. Wednesday.
