Flood cleanup contract for Minnesota communities awarded to Detroit Lakes company

A Detroit Lakes, Minn., company received the contract to remove emergency clay levees in several Minnesota communities.

A Detroit Lakes, Minn., company received the contract to remove emergency clay levees in several Minnesota communities.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers awarded Hough Inc. the $472,370.00 contract for removing levees in Breckenridge, Georgetown, Halstad, Oakport, Perley and St. Vincent.

Work is scheduled to begin today, weather permitting, and the contractor has 14 days to complete the work.
