Today is the last day for Minnesota residents and business owners affected by the flood between March 16 and May 22 to apply for federal disaster assistance.

Today is the last day for Minnesota residents and business owners affected by the flood between March 16 and May 22 to apply for federal disaster assistance.

Applications for individual assistance will be accepted online or via telephone by the Federal Emergency Management Agency. Residents whose property was damaged in Beltrami, Clay, Marshall, Norman, Polk, Traverse and Wilkin counties of Minnesota are eligible to apply.

Applicants can call (800) 621-3362 between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m. or register online at www.disasterassistance.gov.

Individuals with business questions may contact the Small Business Administration customer service center at (800) 659-2955 or online at www.sba.gov/services/disasterassistance.gov.
